Early 20th century Cretan Olive oil Amphora.
A beautiful 1920’s terracotta amphora of an imposing size.
Although originally from Crete, this beauty has weathered many challenging winters in the Gloucestershire countryside and is frost-hardy.
These pots were used for storage of various food produce including olive oil but now make stunning garden features whether planted up or left in their vacant elegance.
Each one is marked with the maker’s stamp.
